Websites, apps, software and automation.
What I develop for your business – clearly explained. Each area can stand on its own or work together with the others. What matters is what should become easier in your day-to-day work.
Four areas that can work together.
Depending on the task, a single solution is enough – or several building blocks interlock, for example a website whose enquiries go straight into your software.
Websites
Your presence on the internet – clear, fast and with a direct path to an enquiry.
A good website does more than show what you offer. It explains your services clearly, is technically prepared for search engines and leads prospective customers to the next step – a phone call, an enquiry or an appointment booking.
Typical tasks
- Company websites and landing pages for services or products
- Enquiry forms with the right follow-up questions, calculators or configurators
- Online appointment booking and reservations
- Technical and content groundwork for being found in search engines
- Setting up a Google Business Profile and showing genuine reviews on the website
- Revising or rebuilding an existing website
Apps and customer portals
For phone, tablet and browser – information where it is needed.
A customer portal or an app brings documents, appointments, messages and progress updates together in one protected place. Customers, partners or staff see exactly what is meant for them – even on the move on their phone.
Typical tasks
- Customer, partner or member portals with personal access
- Apps for phone and tablet, for example for staff on the move
- Providing documents, appointments and messages in an organised way
- Making status, approvals and next steps visible
- Online shops, booking systems and digital products
Software and tools
Custom programs for your workflows – when standard software doesn’t fit.
Many businesses work with spreadsheets, paper notes and several programs side by side. A custom tool brings jobs, appointments, stock or documentation together in one place – tailored to the way you work. If an existing standard solution is enough, I’ll recommend it.
Typical tasks
- Managing jobs, appointments and tasks
- Overviews of key figures and open items (dashboards)
- Documenting on-site work on mobile – with photos, checklists and signatures
- Generating reports, records and PDF documents from existing information
- Managing materials, stock or project progress
Automation and AI
Repetitive work takes care of itself – you stay in control.
An email, a PDF, a form or a voice message can trigger a workflow. This can result in tasks, draft quotes or entries in your programs, for example. I use AI where it genuinely helps – drafts are always checked and approved by a person.
Typical tasks
- Preparing quotes from voice messages, notes or photos
- Reading emails and documents and assigning them to the right customers or jobs
- Connecting existing programs so that data doesn’t have to be typed in twice
- Triggering reminders, approvals and notifications automatically
- Preparing texts in several languages for review
Security and data protection
Protection is planned in from the start – not only once something has happened.
Which measures a system needs depends on the data it processes: a website with a contact form needs different things from a customer area with invoices. I set out the specific scope in the quote.
What I pay attention to
- Encrypted connections and forms protected against spam and misuse
- As few third-party services as possible – fonts, statistics and content run via your own server wherever possible
- Protected login for customer areas: passwords are not stored in readable form, and everyone sees only their own data
- Collecting only the data that is really needed for the purpose
You can see what this looks like in practice in the projects – each in the “Security and data protection” box.
Operation and support
Every system that keeps running after launch comes with ongoing support – so it stays secure and working.
Software changes along with its environment: browsers, interfaces and requirements keep evolving. Without maintenance, compatibility or security problems can arise over time. That is why ongoing support is a fixed part of every system that stays in operation. It is only left out for one-off services such as consulting, concepts or data migration.
Possible components
- Project-specific hosting; the provider and server location are stated in the quote
- Updates and security checks at the agreed intervals
- Appropriate testing for each agreed change
- Backup and recovery concept to the agreed extent
- Technical documentation to the agreed extent
- A clearly agreed support channel
Billing, services, intervals, term and limits of support are set out in the respective quote and contract.
What people often want to know.
Do I need to know beforehand whether I need a website, an app or software?
No. You describe how you work today and what should become easier. From that, I work out which solution makes sense – sometimes a small one is enough.
How much does a project cost?
That depends on the scope, so I don’t quote flat prices. After the free, no-obligation initial conversation, you receive a written quote with a fixed scope, a fixed price and a timeframe.
How does working together work?
In a first conversation, we clarify where things get stuck and what you want to achieve. You then receive a written quote. During development, you see interim results and give feedback early. At launch, I explain how everything works, and after that I look after the system.
Who looks after the solution after launch?
I do. Every system that keeps running after launch comes with ongoing support, so it stays secure and working. It is billed monthly and listed separately from the project price; what it covers – such as updates, checks, backups and support – is set out in the quote. It is only left out for one-off services such as consulting or data migration.
Which businesses do you work for?
Mainly small and medium-sized businesses looking for a direct point of contact. I am based in Neu-Ulm, Germany. We can work together in German, English or Croatian.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
Where it demonstrably saves work – for example, to prepare a draft quote from a voice message. A person always checks and approves the result. Which services process data in the process is agreed beforehand.
Who owns the website and the code?
Which usage rights you receive, which project files you get and in whose name accounts and services are registered is set out for each project in the quote and contract.
Which solution fits your business?
You don’t need to name a finished product yet. Describe how you work today and what should become easier.
Personally developed. Clearly agreed. Support clearly defined.
